Drawn Cup Needle Roller FCB Series Radial Needle Roller And Cage Assemblies have a steel cage that provides both inward and outward retention for the needle rollers. The designs provide maximum cage strength consistent with the inherently high load ratings of High Precision Needle Roller FCB Series. Accurate guidance of the needle rollers by the cage bars allows for operation at high speeds. Also available are needle roller and cage assemblies using molded, one-piece glass-reinforced engineered polymer cages. Needle roller and cage assemblies are manufactured with either one or two rows of needle rollers.

High Precision Needle Roller FCB Series have a high load carrying capacity in addition to their low cross-section and stiffness. They are especially suitable for bearing arrangements where radial space is limited because Needle Roller Bearings only carry pure radial load and can not limit the axial displacement of shaft relative to the housing. It is important to ensure that inner ring axis and outer ring axis must be aligned during mounting the bearings.

Owing to the thin-walled external drawn cup and the lack of an internal ring, Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearings with a closed end and open ends have a very low radial section height. They contain extremely high load carrying ability, are appropriate for high velocities and can be effortlessly fixed. If snap rings, shoulders, etc., are not used for axial location, the housing bore can be shaped effortlessly and in particular economical.
